It's Brendan here from www.ourproperty.co.uk really pleased to tell you that I have a bit of an early Christmas present for you. We've managed to buy the data for houses sold in England and Wales right back to 1995 and we've made it available for free on the site (previously we only had back to the year 2000). I haven't been able to stop looking at it, it's fascinating to see what my house sold for 12 years ago (£42,000!).
Give it a try - we are the ONLY site with this data.
To look up your house price pre-2000, or any other property, simply search as normal on www.ourproperty.co.uk , then click through to the road you are interested in. If we have pre-2000 data on that road (we have added 5 million sales so we should!) then there is a green box at the top of the search results with a link you can click to allow you to view these previously unpublished sales.
We do ask that you complete a quick survey about your property's features to access the pre-2000 house price data, but as a valued member you'll get free access to the results of this survey as soon as it's available.
