Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in aid of Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice.
UPDATE: The walk was completed by Nick and Mark in 14 very exhausting hours, starting at 7.25am and finishing at 9.25pm with only short stops to collect more water as it was so hot. Any donations to our cause will still be gratefully accepted. Many Thanks, Nick.
Nick Stocker and Mark Morelli are organising an extremely long walk in ONE DAY of approximately 33 MILES from Cardiff Bay to Bridgend in aid of Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice on July 2nd. It will probably take them over 12 hours continuous walking !!
This site will also be used by anyone else joining them on the walk.
The walk is going to be mainly taking the coastal route to add lots of extra miles and interesting terrain!
Initial thoughts when this was suggested by Mark was that it was a bit of a crazy idea especially in one day but then after some serious deliberation it was worked out that it could be done in one day but it would be very tough !
This will be the first time either of us will have done anything like this!
Tŷ Hafan offers comfort, care and support for life-limited children and young people and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of their whole family.
Please feel free to join us on the walk, the more the merrier! Otherwise any donations to this very worthy cause would be very much welcomed, however large or small, every penny helps.

15 Miles 12:50 Approaching bridge by Aberthaw Power Station
18 Miles 14:00 Half a mile past Sea watch Centre
21 Miles 15:10 Treslian Bay (just after Llantwit Major)
24 Miles 16:20 Half way between Marcross and Monknash
27 Miles 17:30 Heading up the road away from Southerdown Beach
30 Miles 18:40 Just before the little white bridge (over Ogmore, nr Merthyr Mawr Village)
32 Miles 19:30 The Athletics Track, Newbridge Fields.
